A Scottish Aviation Bulldog (100) with civilian registration SE-FVX (60152) in Swedish Air Force (Flygvapnet) colours. Fly-by of the F3 Malmslätt tower, near Linköping, at the 2010 airshow of the Swedish Armed Forces (Försvarsmaktens Huvudflygdag). The Swedish Air Forces acquired 58 Bulldogs for basic training and used them with the designation Sk 61A and Sk 61B between 1971 and 2001. The Swedish Army (Armén) bought 20 of the type and operated them as Fpl 61 for airborne controller aircraft for artillery fire direction. 15 surviving army Bulldogs were transfered to the Flygvapnet in 1989 as Sk 61C. This particular example is owned by the Flygvapenmuseum, but flown and maintained by the Swedish Air Force Historic Flight (SwAFHF). It is largely still exactly the way it was during the final years of its active carreer within the Swedish Air Force.
