Swedish Military Airshow 2012 (Försvarsmaktens Huvudflygdag / Aerospace Forum Sweden 2012) at F3 Malmslätt, Linköping. Seen in front of the hangar a Douglas DC-3 in SAS Scandinavian Airlines livery, flown by the assocation Flygande Veteraner (SE-CFP), taking of at F3 Malmslätt, Linköping, at the Swedish Armed Forces airshow 2010 (Försvarsmaktens Huvudflygdag). This particular aircraft with serial. no. 13883 wears officially the name Fridtjof Viking, but is nicknamed Daisy. It was produced as a C-47 Skytrain in 1943 in Long Beach, California and deployed by the United States Army Air Corps during the Second World War. After conversion for civilian use in 1946 SAS used the Skytrain between 1947 and 1957. Thereafter the Swedish Air Force (Flygvapnet) deployed the aircraft as Tp79 with number 79006.
